But, I’m too old. But, I’ve never exercised before. But, I’m not fit enough. But, my hip hurts. But, I have a bad shoulder. But, my knees crack. But, I have a broken toe. But, I have a bad back. But, I have high blood pressure. But, I have diabetes. But, I’m too afraid. But, I don’t want to finish last. But, my diet isn’t right. But, it’s too expensive. But, I have no motivation. But, I have too much going on.
Yes, we’ve heard it all. You’ve probably used a handful of these before. But they’re no excuse.
Let me ask you a question, and humor me if you will. When was the last time you saw an advertisement on television about healthy food? For a form of exercise that isn’t a $9.99 at home workout you know won’t work? Keep looking, you won’t see ads for nutritious foods or forms of exercise that help people get well.
We live in a country ruled by BIG PHARMA. They are making BIG money off of your excuses and conditioned behavior. Taking advantage of ALL populations. We have been conditioned to believe that a pill or surgery will be the solution to our problem. I know, I know. It’s hard to take responsibility for our own actions. So, let’s not take responsibility. No, seriously. We are the product of our environments. Let’s take a look at our environments shall we?
Get the picture? Blame America if you want. But, you have to admit that you are are a product of your environment. You know what they want you to know. You have no control. You are a cog in their system. You are addicted. Everything you think, see, do, feel, and experience has been created FOR you. People like to joke that we live in a simulation. Reality check! WE DO. Stop hitting snooze and WAKE UP. Turn off the TV. Take control of your life. You only have ONE.
But, I’m too old.
This is you giving up. Giving up on living the rest of your 20, 30, 40+ years of a healthy, with less pain than you currently have, energetic life. Saying it’s “too late” is choosing the “snooze” button. Though it may seem easy, it’s actually the most painful, expensive option with the shortest life span. Big Pharma will choke the rest of the life out of you.
But, I’ve never exercised before. But, I’m not fit enough.
When we were babies, we had to learn how to walk from a crawl, how to poop in a potty from pooping in our diapers, how to hold a fork from shoving blended peas in our mouth with our fists. As an adult, you need to learn how to use your body. Never learn how to use it, go back to crawling with a walker, pooping in your diapers, and being spoon fed by your children. Or your nurses.
But, my hip hurts. But, I have a bad shoulder. But, my knees crack. But, I have a broken toe. But, I have a bad back. But, I have high blood pressure. But, I have diabetes. But, it’s too expensive.
Good news! There are professional coaches out there who spend A LOT of money, time, and energy learning how to improve, modify, scale, correct, protect, and design programs for you so that you don’t have to figure it out on your own. You trust a doctor to stick needles in you, give you a pill–that causes 10 other issues while just covering up the one, tell you to “diet and exercise,” but with absolutely no how-to guide. You watch the commercials about these drugs that list side effects like swelling, vomit, diarrhea, nausea, heart attack, and even death, yet you choose to trust them because the man/woman in the white coat said it’s safe??? AND you pay them BIG MONEY for these risks???
But, you want HEALTH knowledge, fitness coaching, safety guidance, and workout equipment for cheap and sometimes even FREE?!? The answers that will actually keep you alive and thriving, you want for a discount? You realize how backwards this is, right? You have been so manipulated to think that “health investment” is in astronomical premiums, cosmetic surgeries, diet pills, and hand sanitizer. The easiest or quickest solution is never the correct one.
But, I have no motivation. But, I have too much going on. But, I’m too afraid. But, I don’t want to finish last.
You’re blinded by what you’ve been made to believe is important. Wake up. Take control. Stop waiting for someone else to make your problems go away. Stand up. Shut off your phone, your tv, your radio. Go outside. Speak to your neighbor. Ask if you can borrow an egg. Trust me, it works. Create a relationship. Now talk to them about how you are going to STOP BEING A COG–You need accountability. Now, go find someone you can ACTUALLY TRUST with your health. Find a Coach.
