WE ALWAYS WANT THE BEST FOR THE PEOPLE THAT WE CARE ABOUT. WE TRY TO HELP THEM. PROTECT THEM. DO WHAT’S BEST FOR THEM.

WE WANT THEM TO FEEL GOOD. TO DO WELL. TO BE HAPPY. WE WANT THEM TO FEEL LIKE THEY CAN TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES. LIKE THEY CONTROL THEIR OUTCOMES. LIKE THEY HAVE THE POWER TO CHASE THEIR DREAMS, LOVE THEMSELVES AND LOVE OTHER SELFLESSLY.

THAT’S WHAT I WANT.

BECAUSE WE WANT THESE THINGS FOR OURSELVES, WE ALSO PROJECT WHAT WE WANT FOR OURSELVES ONTO OTHERS. EVERYONE WANTS TO BE HAPPY TOO, RIGHT?

SOMETIMES, THE BEST WAY TO HELP DEVELOP OTHERS IS TO START BY DEVELOPING OURSELVES.

IF WE WANT OUR FAMILY AND OUR FRIENDS TO BE HEALTHY, WE HAVE TO START WITH OURSELVES.

MAYBE IT’S BEST NOT TO TEACH OUR KIDS THAT THEY NEED TO EAT AN APPLE TO BE HEALTHY, AND TO GROW BIG AND STRONG. INSTEAD, WE NEED TO GROW BIG AND STRONG IN FRONT OF THEM, THEN EXPLAIN WHY WE EAT APPLES.
